Do you have any pics? There was fuck all coverage over the weekend. The Limerick Looser er Limerick Leader has fuck all on their front page. A new major event that's good for Limerick with very little coverage. At least the best paper in Limerick, the Post will have something on Thursday.
ReplyDeletebig dave i was wondering the same thing. the loosers who scribble for the limerick looser are prolly more intested in the golf and the bigger names haha. the limerick post were first on the mark with a small bit online. i'd like to see some photos

I was dying to see a few pics as well but couldn't find any online or any of the local papers or blogs. Limerick Post was the first I saw and they have one pic online. Limerick Looser must have been shamed into mentioning the Mardi Gras yesterday by one of their reporters an A Sheridan and I know for a fact she wasn't even there! From reading the bit they did manage to print, it's easy to see she wasn't there. It's a disgrace. Agree that Limerick Post is the best paper in Limerick and what's more it's free!!

Agree that the Post is the best paper in Limerick! Delivered to the door and free and has a more allrounded approach in their stories.
dont ye mean the limerick langer lmfao. that paper is too big, full of ads and advertising with not much other content. as for their reporters, sometimes they are there and sometimes they're not, but 99% of the time, the light isn't switched on! Light on, nobody home! bungalow reporters - not much on top haha
ReplyDeleteLimerick Leader, according to themselves, is the best local newspaper around. Isn't that a load of bollocks! Look at what they did to Willie O'Dea. They set that man up. I don't agree with what he did and he should have had more sense, and a better memory! but the way the Leader handled it was awful. sneaky to the core.
ReplyDeleteah Mardi Gras Saturday evening was superb! Fantastic turnout, great atmosphere and a no hassle crowd.
ReplyDeletep.s have to agree that that the local shite rag is one big looser! I'd pay diddly squat for that paper. Limerick Post gets my thumps up! and the Limerick Indendent, even though it's fallen on hard times, is fairly daycent!

ReplyDeleteIt was indeed a brilliant night all round. Great atmosphere and it was great to see people come out in their thousands and line the street (made it effin harder to get to the bar though!). One of the bests nights I've had in Limerick in a long time! Going forward, an annual Mardi Gras will be great for Limerick.
