Denial aint just a river in Egypt!

''Remarkable' decrease in crime in 2010.

Chief Superintendent David Sheehan and his team at Henry Street Garda Station have made big inroads in curbing crime in the region (via this week's Limerick Post).

I guess that's why they drafted in the  ERU  again ! *Cough* !
He was praised by county councillors for his achievements with councillor James Collins saying "we asked for someone who could hit the ground running and that's what we got".

Sheehan maintains that the number of incidents reported were down on last year.......

  1. When I read this the first time, I didn't notice the links associated with each word! my bad. Now I understand what you're getting at. The number of incidents reported may be down according to their stats, but what about the incidents reported that they conveniently have no record of?

yeah that's a good point! I have a mate that was mugged couple years ago and the Gardai advised him not to make a formal complaint against his attackers, the reason being that they were allegedly members of some crime gang/family!
